 A Note from The Founder:-

I'm Leandi, the founder of GenXza.

This brand started with something I noticed in my own life. On more occasions than I can count, my son would use words I simply didn't understand and I'd have to turn to my nephews to translate what he actually meant. I know I'm not alone in this. It's the kind of small, everyday gap that can quietly grow: parents give up trying to keep up, frustration builds on both sides, and before you know it, the distance between you and your child feels bigger than it should.

I didn't want that for my son and me. So instead of giving up, I chose to learn to adapt to their "code," their new-era language so I could keep up, stay close, and make sure neither of us got lost or separated, or our relationship turned fragile at such a young, important stage.

That's where GenXza was born: a brand about where generations meet, and about bridging the gap.

I'm involved in every part of it, the designs, the pieces we choose to stock, the words on this page. GenXza isn't a faceless brand chasing trends; it's personal, made with intention, and built to bring people together rather than divide them by age. It's why we created The Translator, too because understanding each other's language is the whole point.

We're starting here in South Africa, but we dream bigger than that. Our hope is that GenXza becomes a small but real way to bridge the gap between generations, through style, through language, and through connection. Thank you for being early. You're not just a customer you're part of the crew, and part of the story from the very beginning.
